Meet the Owner

Alex Bautista.
Builder, first.

I started GiGi Homes in 2015 because I kept meeting homeowners who'd been burned — bad estimates, missed deadlines, work that looked good until year two.

The fix wasn't complicated. Hire people who care. Explain every step. Price the whole job before we start. Show up when we say we will. Ten years in, that's still the whole playbook.

If you're planning something significant — a kitchen you'll cook in for the next twenty years, a primary suite that lasts as long as the mortgage — I'd love to walk your space and talk about it.

The Process

Calm from
day one.

The reason most remodels feel stressful is that nobody explains what happens next. Here's exactly what happens next.

01

Conversation

Alex or a lead designer meets you at your home. We walk the space, listen to what's not working, and talk about how you want it to feel when it's done. No sales script.

02

Design

3D renderings, material boards, and a scope of work that reads like a plan — not a wall of construction jargon. You approve every choice before a hammer swings.

03

Estimate

A fixed-price proposal that holds from the walkthrough forward. No surprises mid-project because the surprises get found and priced before we start.

04

Build

One dedicated project manager. Weekly walkthroughs. Daily site cleanup. A schedule that's actually kept.

05

Handover

Punch-list closed, warranty issued, and a homeowner's binder with every product, spec, and paint code for the next 20 years.

The finished kitchen matters. So does everything before it — the months we spend in someone’s home, the questions we answer at nine at night, the calls we return the same day. These are the words of people who lived that with us. The experience is the work.

“Alex is an absolute pleasure to work with! I had a great experience. Alex doesn't just do the job, he does it with care, precision and attention to detail — almost like he is taking care of his own home. Alex and his team are professional and polite. He even brought back my trash cans in (it was trash day) before he left, which he didn't have to do at all! If you want a reliable contractor, Alex is your man!”

“Had renovations done to my bathroom and kitchen last month. From beginning to end, I had a great experience. Mr Bautista was patient as I was indecisive. He walked me through each step of planning. The contractor and crew paid attention to detail, worked efficiently, and cared about keeping the remaining spaces useable. The final results were beautiful — better than I ever imagined. It all came within the budget we discussed. Plan on using them for finishing my basement. Would highly recommend.”

“We've had a great experience with GiGi Homes. They are extremely reliable and professional. With the heavy snowfall we received, the parking lot at our office was completely covered. Alex and his team worked quickly and diligently to clear the lot so we could proceed with normal office operations. The job is done thoroughly every time, with attention to detail that really shows. Highly recommend them to anyone looking for dependable, high-quality work.”

FAQ

The questions
we're asked.

Straight answers to the things every homeowner wants to know before signing a contract.

It depends on scope. A powder-room refresh is 2-3 weeks. A full kitchen is 8-12 weeks from demo to punch-list. A whole-home renovation typically runs 4-8 months. Every proposal includes a real schedule — not a range designed to sound reassuring.

Both. Alex or a lead designer sits with you to plan the space, produces 3D renderings and material boards, and hands the same plan to the build team. One firm, one relationship, from first sketch to final walkthrough.

Centreville, Manassas, Chantilly, Fairfax, Fairfax Station, Oakton, Burke, Sudley, Bull Run, and Union Mill — all within Fairfax and Prince William counties. If you're outside that, ask — we've made exceptions for the right project.

Every project has a fixed-price proposal issued before demo. If a wall opens up and something behind it needs attention, we stop, quote it, and get your sign-off before proceeding. No mid-project sticker shocks.

Yes — Class A contractor's license in Virginia, general liability insurance, and worker's compensation for every person on your project. Certificates provided before contract signing.

Send us a note or call. We'll set up a walk-through of your space, listen to what you're hoping for, and follow up with a design proposal. First conversation is free and doesn't obligate you to anything.
